program notes:
FLYSCH draws inspiration from stratified geological formations, creating a sonic dialogue that unfolds in layers. The classical guitar and electronics intertwine in a continuous accumulation and unveiling of sound material, with the guitar alternating between delicate and jagged passages, while the electronics amplify and transform these sounds into a series of spectral evolutions. The piece aims to create a certain tension between the guitar and electronics, in a process that evokes the constant change of stratified lands, where each added layer contributes to forming a sonic landscape in perpetual transformation.
